Learning the statue of limitations for debt collection

Reducing your debt can be difficult. Like I said many times over I had a lot of trouble fixing my debt. At least I did until I got help.

I turned to the program of what lies in your debt. Which is a solid program to teach you the ins and outs of debt collections and credit. This program was designed to help reduce their debt, and help people learn ways to avoid debt all together.

The program focuses on creating a platform for which people can learn to stand on their own and eliminate debt. My family and I were literally drowning in the amount of debt we had acquired. Our house was facing foreclosure, and my cars were going to be repossesd. Little did I know that there was a simple solution to help reduce all my debt and let me keep everything I had.

The process for this program was kinda long I will admit. About 5 months, a lot longer then the program advertised but it still did what it promised. I did have my doubts. This program showed me the statue of limitations for debt collection which allowed me to analyze my debt and either have it struck from my record or pushed back. This was done through a seriously well planned attack pattern. The what lies in your debt program walked me through how to contact my collectors and negotiate with them, as well as find out if they had a leg to stand on debt collections wise.

These collections ended up being in most cases illegal for them to collect since it was past the statute of limitation for debt collection in my state.

I totally recommend this program to all who are suffering from debt. I will be outlining this program more in depth in my next few posts.

My First Brush with Reducing Debt

Before I get into the various posts about how this program helped I am going to talk about what I did before I turned for help.

My husband and I narrowed our debt issues down to three simple steps to help

1: Stop Creating Debt

2: Calculate Your Expenses and Deb

3: Change Your Spending Habits

These all seem pretty self explainitory don't they? Well to the average person I guess it is but to us it all went over our heads and we overextended. So we turned to these ideas to help.

1.Stop creating debt!
Easy right? Well you would be surprised how hard that actually turned out to be. Why pay cash for the gas when I can put it on my card, then when the bill pay only make the minimum payment. Hey I am saving money right? Wrong. We realized this and tried to stop using credit when we didn't have to.

2.Calculate your expenses and debt.
We both pulled our full credit reports offline, and from that we calculated our total debt. It piled up so fast. We couldn't believe how much debt we had actually collected over the years, and we had no idea how to actually reduce the debt. That is where the knowledge of statute of limitations comes in.

3.Change your spending habits.
This is a no brainer right? Well not to some. My husband and I tried very hard to change our spending habits. We managed to do this but it was hard. That and we saw very little effect on actually reducing our debt.

These three suggestions are what we thought would help, sadly they didn't. At least not in the fashion we had hoped for. So once again we looked elsewhere to help reduce the debt that was plaguing us.

Starting my blog on the statute of limitations for debt collection

Starting this blog was daunting to say the least. I didn't plan on actually doing it until my husband pushed me into it. I am a writer by nature and haven't done anything creative with it until now.

As I stated in my about me section, my family and I were about to lose everything. Our house, our livelyhood, our everything. Until a good friend suggested this great service that totally helped my husband and I recover from our economic floundering.

We had no idea what the statute of limitation for debt collection was, nor did we have any idea how that would help us make it out of debt and save our house and family.

I will write over the next posts just how effective the What lies in your debt program was and how it help me save my family.
